Not every irrigation system is built the same, which is why Main Street offers maintenance plans based on the number of sprinkler zones installed on your property. This allows homeowners to receive service that matches the complexity of their irrigation system.
Each plan is structured to provide regular service visits and system evaluations that help keep irrigation systems performing reliably regardless of property size. Our sprinkler maintenance plans include options for:
Small shifts in sprinkler heads or minor pressure changes can alter how water spreads across the yard. This can create uneven moisture levels that affect lawn health.
During our routine maintenance visits, our technicians run the irrigation system and observe how water is distributed throughout each zone. If certain areas are receiving too much or too little water, adjustments are made to restore balanced coverage.
The process may include repositioning sprinkler heads, correcting spray arcs, or adjusting nozzles to improve how water moves across the lawn. The goal is always to make sure water lands where it is intended instead of being wasted on pavement or fencing.

The controller is the command center of your sprinkler system. It determines when irrigation begins, how long each zone runs, and how frequently watering occurs. If these settings drift away from the needs of your landscape, watering can quickly become inefficient.
As part of sprinkler maintenance, Main Street technicians review controller programming and confirm that irrigation schedules are still appropriate for the current season. Lawn watering requirements change throughout the year, and outdated schedules can easily lead to overwatering or dry turf.
A seasonal tune-up typically covers a full system check, including zone testing, sprinkler head adjustments, leak detection, controller programming, and ensuring proper coverage across your lawn.
Yes. Many irrigation issues, like small leaks or inefficient spray patterns, aren’t obvious right away but can waste water and drive up costs over time.
Before the growing season begins, some time in early to mid-spring, is the best time to ensure that all your sprinkler parts are in working order. But, of course, any time of year is a good time to get your system checked.
Routine maintenance can significantly cut water waste by fixing leaks and optimizing spray coverage, often reducing overall irrigation usage without sacrificing lawn health.
Frequent issues include clogged or broken heads, misaligned spray patterns, underground leaks, faulty valves, and outdated controller settings.
Absolutely. Regular inspections and adjustments reduce wear and tear on components, helping your system last longer and delaying costly replacements.
If your irrigation system hasn’t been professionally serviced in a while, our routine maintenance can make a noticeable difference in how effectively it waters your landscape. Contact us today to sign up for sprinkler maintenance in Highland Village, TX!
