Underground leaks are one of the most common causes of irrigation inefficiency. Because these leaks occur beneath the surface, they can go unnoticed for long periods of time while wasting large amounts of water.
As part of our maintenance service, technicians monitor the irrigation system for signs that may indicate hidden leaks or pressure issues. Some common indicators include:

Regular inspections are one of the most important parts of keeping an irrigation system reliable. Our technicians perform seasonal sprinkler inspections to check the health and performance of your entire system.
During these visits, we carefully evaluate critical components to ensure everything is operating correctly. Our inspection process typically includes:
Sprinkler heads can gradually move out of alignment due to soil settling, lawn mowing, or normal wear. When this happens, water may spray onto sidewalks or driveways while parts of the lawn receive too little coverage.
Our technicians adjust each sprinkler head to ensure the spray pattern reaches the intended areas of your landscape. We also clean clogged nozzles and correct uneven spray arcs to restore proper coverage. These small adjustments make a significant difference in how evenly your lawn receives water.
Proper water pressure is essential for sprinkler performance. If pressure is too low, sprinkler heads may not pop up fully or distribute water evenly. If pressure is too high, it can cause misting, overspray, and extra wear on system components.
During routine maintenance, we test water pressure throughout your irrigation zones to confirm the system is operating within the proper range. Identifying pressure issues early helps prevent long-term damage to pipes, fittings, and sprinkler heads.
A seasonal tune-up typically covers a full system check, including zone testing, sprinkler head adjustments, leak detection, controller programming, and ensuring proper coverage across your lawn.
Yes. Many irrigation issues, like small leaks or inefficient spray patterns, aren’t obvious right away but can waste water and drive up costs over time.
Before the growing season begins, some time in early to mid-spring, is the best time to ensure that all your sprinkler parts are in working order. But, of course, any time of year is a good time to get your system checked.
Routine maintenance can significantly cut water waste by fixing leaks and optimizing spray coverage, often reducing overall irrigation usage without sacrificing lawn health.
Frequent issues include clogged or broken heads, misaligned spray patterns, underground leaks, faulty valves, and outdated controller settings.
Absolutely. Regular inspections and adjustments reduce wear and tear on components, helping your system last longer and delaying costly replacements.
